How to build a crochet flower bouquet 101

Each crocheter has a different way of writing patterns, some of my patterns are advanced beginner, and others easier for people recently starting crocheting, I keep updating my patterns as I receive feedback from you, hence, if you get to any confusing part please reach out so I can fix it❣️

My flower crochet patterns gives you the freedom to create your own flower bouquet, with the combinations you like and the colors you prefer. My bouquet patterns are divided in 4 parts:

• Instructions (materials, abbreviations, links to material)

• Primary flowers

• Filling flowers

• Leafs and greenery.

In order to build a bouquet, I would recommend to choose 1 or 2 primary flowers to be the main center of the bouquet, if the flower is big, as the peony or the sunflower, don’t do more primary flowers or it will be too much.

 

Then choose 1 or 2 fillings, if you only want one type of filling, you can make 2 of the same type to fill.

 

Then 2 or 3 leafs or greenery depending on your bouquet size. In the case of fern leaf, don’t over work it, the bouquet will be pretty with just one. Try to play with textures, if the primary flowers you choose are very simple, you can add a more complex greenery as fern leaf. But if your primary flower is complex, use simpler filling and greenery.

 

A different option to add to your flower bouquets to give a more personal feeling are the animal flowers that i have on my profile, with very pretty results. Can also be made with the zodiac sign horoscope amigurumis.
